Please join us Tuesday, January 27, 2015 for a talk with WICI Member Dr. Hans De Sterck, a Professor in the Department of Applied Mathematics at the University of Waterloo.

His lecture, entitled “Mathematical modelling of social spreading processes,” will examine how mathematical and computational modelling techniques can offer new ways to study social spreading processes, particularly given  the increasing availability of empirical information in the era of big data and online social networks.
