Haotian Zhang is currently pursuing a Ph.D. degree in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Waterloo. He received the M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, Canada, in 2012. His research interests are in the areas of network science and design of fault-tolerant algorithms. Specifically, he is interested in investigating network properties and diffusion dynamics that allow legitimate information to propagate throughout the network, while limiting the effects of illegitimate individuals and actions.
