Is technological development slipping beyond human control? A WICI Talk with ethicist Wendell Wallach on February 10

Join us on February 10th from 2-4pm for a WICI Talk with ethicist and scholar Wendell Wallach entitled “A  Dangerous Master: How to keep technology from slipping beyond our control.”

While most of us perceive technology as a source of both promise and productivity, there is considerable disquiet regarding specific emerging technologies and the overall course of technological development. In this WICI Talk, Wendell Wallach will discuss the dangers posed to health, the environment and employment by emerging technologies and how those risks might be addressed through engineering, oversight and governance.
