Hassan Masum is a policy and technology strategist. He was a team leader in the Ethical, Social, and Cultural Program for the international Grand Challenges in Global Health initiative, and has worked as an engineer, scientist, foresight specialist, consultant, and global health innovator.
Hassan co-edited The Reputation Society (MIT Press, 2012), and contributed chapters to the books WorldChanging, Collective Intelligence, and Global Health Ethics. He has published in Nature, Nature Biotechnology, Innovations, BMC Public Health, First Monday, and other venues. He is passionate about working with governments, research labs, companies, nonprofits, and changemakers to tackle complex socio-technical challenges, and to research and disseminate effective solutions for some of the world’s most pressing problems.
